Surety & Fidelity Industry Intern and Scholarship Program

Are you an underrepresented* student studying insurance/risk management, accounting, economics, or business/finance looking for the opportunity to intern with industry leading insurance companies? Would you be interested in earning a $5,000 scholarship award? If so, The Surety Foundation, the educational arm of The Surety & Fidelity Association of America (SFAA), may have an opportunity for you!

 

We are looking for the best and brightest college students from around the country to participate in the Surety and Fidelity Intern and Scholarship Program. This program gives students the opportunity to work with industry experts through paid professional internships with our member organizations. The program also encourages upcoming graduates to consider the surety and fidelity industry as a career of choice. Academic scholarships of up to $5,000 are awarded upon successful completion of an internship program. Past participants include Travelers, Liberty Mutual, The Hartford, Merchants, Nationwide, Chubb, Great American, CNA, and more. Locations vary across the United States.

We’re Currently Accepting Applications!

 

  • If you are interested in a summer internship, apply by using the link below. We will then share your application with our recruitment liaisons in our member companies. They will be contacting applicants this Spring for a Summer program.

 

  • Any students who complete a minimum 6-week (full-time) internship in 2021 with an SFAA member company, and meet the eligibility requirements, may apply for the $5,000 scholarship award. The deadline to do so is .
