Requirements

Application deadlines are:

Fall Deadline for Summer 2021 (for companies making decisions in October-December 2020): September 15, 2020
Spring Deadline for Summer 2021 (for Companies making decisions February - April 2021): January 31, 2021
Final Deadline (for interns placed through company recruiting processes versus SFAA application portal): August 1, 2021

U.S. Citizenship
Underrepresented student* who has completed at least their sophomore year, including at least six semester hours (or equivalent) in your major field
Ideally, a declared business, finance, economics, accounting or insurance/risk management major
Minimum overall GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
Enrollment in an accredited institution as a full-time undergraduate student (12 semester hours or equivalent) and commitment to participating in a six-week (minimum) paid internship with a company in the surety/fidelity industry during the summer following notification of selection and prior to disbursement of scholarship funds
Successful completion of paid internship is required
